Emma Moore

Having danced from an early age, Emma went on to study professionally at The London Studio Centre for Performing Arts. Graduating three years later, she worked for a number of touring dance companies at home and abroad as both a choreographer and performer. Drawing on her dance background salsa has become an obsession for Emma who, along with her dance partner Mushi, has travelled the world performing, teaching and DJing.

Mushi

Mushi has been dancing Salsa for 10 years & continues to run Salsology’s school teaching predominantly cross-body salsa, Bachata & Cha Cha Cha. Mushi is known for his boundless energy and creative and unique style, he’s also usually last to leave the dance floor!

In 2002, Emma and Mushi were honoured with an award for the Most Inspiring Newcomers and in 2003 were invited by Susana Montero to judge the British Salsa Competition. Emma also features on Susana Montero's Ladies Styling video sold worldwide. Collectively Emma and Mushi they have an impressive list of teaching credits and run Salsology Club with co-director Kate Moore.

Emma and Mushi began Salsology Dance Co in 2006. With thirteen members, Salsology have performed their first show ‘No Puedo Negar’ all over the UK and at major festivals throughout Europe. Watch out for their new show coming your way soon...

Salsology Dance Company

Salsology Dance Co is a Manchester-based salsa dance company directed and choreographed by Emma Moore and Mushi Noor. The company was formed in 2006 and draws inspiration from the explosive energy and elegance of the New York mambo scene in particular, and also from the diverse dance backgrounds of its directors and company members.
